Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery - Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) is a common maintenance-free battery that uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology and is suitable for start-stop systems (EFB upgrade), luxury vehicle batteries, UPS, data center backup power, solar energy storage, wind power generation storage, medical equipment, military equipment, etc.
Features:
1. AGM separator, the electrolyte is adsorbed in the glass fiber separator, in a "dry state", without free liquid, and leak-proof.
2. Sealed design, the battery is in a negative pressure state, equipped with a safety valve, and only releases gas under abnormal pressure (valve-controlled).
3. The plate and the separator are tightly pressed together to reduce internal resistance and improve charging and discharging efficiency.
4. Supports high current discharge and is suitable for high power demand scenarios.
5. It is more resistant to deep discharge than ordinary lead-acid batteries (up to 50%~80% DOD) and has a longer cycle life (usually 300~800 cycles).
6. Low internal resistance, high charging efficiency, and can accept higher charging current.
7. It can still maintain a high capacity in low temperature environments (such as -20℃) (better than gel batteries).
8. No need to replenish water, no electrolyte stratification problem.
