Replacement precautions:
1. Power-off operation:
Fuel vehicles: Disconnect the negative (-) cable first, then the positive (+) cable to prevent short circuit.
Electric vehicles: High-voltage batteries must be operated by professionals. Disconnect the maintenance switch or high-voltage relay first, and then disassemble after discharging.
2. Battery model matching: Confirm that the voltage, capacity, and size of the new battery are consistent with the original factory
3. Avoid metal tools from contacting the positive and negative electrodes or metal parts of the vehicle body at the same time during disassembly. Insulated tools and insulating gloves must be used for high-voltage battery operations.
4. During installation, the positive (+) should be connected to the positive electrode, and the negative (-) should be connected to the negative electrode. Reverse connection may burn the circuit.
5. Used batteries are hazardous waste and must be handed over to professional recycling points (contains lead and sulfuric acid, and cannot be discarded at will).
6. After replacement, you may need to reset electronic devices such as window anti-pinch, radio password, and clock.
7. You can use a wire brush to remove corrosion from the electrodes and cable terminals, and apply vaseline to prevent oxidation.
8. After replacement, the battery management system (BMS) needs to be calibrated with a diagnostic instrument to ensure that the power, temperature and other data are accurate.
9. High-voltage batteries need to be moisture-proof and impact-proof, and the power should be kept at 30%-50% during transportation.
10. Inspection after replacement: Start the vehicle and test all electrical equipment (lights, air conditioning, etc.). Electric vehicles need to perform battery health diagnosis to confirm that there are no fault codes.
